THE most consistent return for my advertising comes from 2 things. One is the pay-per-click search engines. I'm talking about the big ones, not the fly-by-night wannabes. You should submit at least one hundred search terms related to the program or webpage you are advertising, and one thousand terms if you want a fair amount of traffic each day.

Another good way to find signups for programs is to start your own affiliate program and pay webmasters to find them for you. I have bought into co-ops where if we could get 200 free members to join for $100, we thought we were doing pretty good. I now have my own affiliate program and offer webmasters 10 cents for each free membership into the program they can find for me. The company keeps an extra 5 cents for a total of 15 cents per new member. Now, for every $100 I spend, I get over 650 new members. It's not as fast as the co-ops were, but for that price, I can wait a couple of months instead of a week or two.
