If your business
cannot accept credit card payments, you are literally slamming
your door in many potential customer's faces. Online purchasers
want their product as soon as possible and they know that paying
by credit card will speed up delivery time considerably.
I have set up
accounts for clients with other credit card services, and quite
frankly, I would not pay a monthly service fee on top of per-transaction
commissions. The programs below do not charge a monthly fee,
and are much simpler to set up than others I've seen.
PayPal
is a program that is not only free to sign up for, but will in
fact pay you $5.00 to join. At the time of this writing, the
first $500.00 of transactions was commission free, after which
they charged a nominal fee per transaction (less than most credit
card services).

PayPal
ClickBank allows
you to accept credit card payments for your product and offer
some of their products if you like. You get a commission for
any of their products you sell.
They process
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Eurocard, and Visa-Debit,
MasterCard-Debit, and Novus cards.
ClickBank has
a one-time $49.95 activation fee, and a $1 + 7.5% fee per sale.
There are no monthly fees.
ClickBank
ProPay is another
excellent program for accepting credit cards. You may want to
compare current rates to see which is best for you. At the time
of this writing, they charged 3.5% plus 35 cents per transaction,
and offered to deposit $10 in your new account when you sign
up.
