Alice's Fantasy Fudge

3 cups sugar
3/4 cup margarine
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 12 ounce pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
17 ounce jar marshmallow cream
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine the sugar and margarine and milk, in a two and a half quart sauce pan. Bring to a full rolling boil stirring constantly. Continue boiling for five minutes, over medium heat, or until a candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees. Stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove form heat stir in the chocolate chips until they are melted add the marshmallow cream, nuts and vanilla mix until blended. Pour into a butter 13x9 pan. Cool, cut and eat.
